As the title says, on SX OS 2.9.5 'Beta' and 10.0.1 System FW, is the new feature of shifting games to the System Storage or SD and back forth safe, and or advisable? I'd like to make use of that extra 25GB, though I'm also using EMUNand, if that means anything. Just curious what others think, and are or are not doing.

I guess it depends on the size of your SD card.

Emunand takes 32 GB, games in XCI take a lot of space ... and if you start moving everything sysnand-related to the SD card as well .. you might run out of space soon.

I will use the sysnand space first and then think about moving stuff ... when I have to. I have a 200 GB SD card which (like every other, I guess) is looking smaller and smaller each day. :)

Yeah, I've been putting EVERYTHING on my SD Card. I've got a 400GB MicroSD, and I'm at about 20GB lol, so, I wanted to shift a few things over to squeeze a couple more. But if that feature works, and is safe to use, doesn't compromise anything, then, I don't mind giving it a go. I know in SX Installer, you can install to SD or System, but in 10.0.1 theres that option to let you transfer stuff, if thats cool to use, I'd love to use it. Or is there another feature in SX Installer that lets you move things? I'm just worried about messing something up and having to redo things.

emutendo is not your emunand. The emunand is (should be) on a hidden partition (if you created it that way, that is).

It I transferred from memory to sd card it would go into Nintendo folder but in the emunands case it would go into emutendo so I’m wandering if that would still work? This is what I mean.

But if your system (emunand) is already completely on your SD card ... you would be "moving" stuff from one place to another ... on your SD card, wouldn't you?

Yeah, I'm not 100% certain, but its just my guess that it sort of acts like reserved space, and it would be 'moving' it to that.

If you are using emunand then the only time it would make a different would be if you are using the partition emunand and saving games to that partition and want to move it to the "SD" or vise versa. Of course it's all on the SD if you are using emunand as that's the point of emunand unless you are still using emunand on the sysnand. That may work differently.
