Just updated to 10.0.1 and 2.9.5. Works sometimes and other times the album folder crashes and deletes anything new i have put on the card. Including the license file and payload.bin. Even if i add the sxos folder again it deletes that after a crash. Then after a few days it just starts working again until i try a cheat or something in homebrew. I have used an old 64 gb card and it seems to work fine on there. This is 400gb and a real micro card i bought at best buy. Been working for years until this last update. Why would sxos crashing delete any files?

File and folder verification is complete.

everytime i do this it says this even after saying its been repaired.

Are you using exFAT? Sounds like corrupted files and since exFAT has no backup table to recovery from, it doesn't know there are files "missing" to recover. fat32 is recommended for SD cards.

Yes i am using exfat. Does fat32 mean you can't put larger nsp's on it in one file?

Use USB installation and you never have to worry about the file size limit with FAT32. If we're talking games, there aren't really any good reasons to ever have to put raw XCI's or NSP's on you SD card anymore. It's a colossal inconvenience that USB installation solved like, 2 years ago? :p

Yeah but i can't use tinfoil anymore for large nsp installations? i would have to find them on my pc then transfer them...which i used to do in the past.

Here's the plan: Get a USB C to A adapter on Amazon, get a thumb drive, put your nsp/xci on the thumb drive, plug the thumb drive into your switch (via adapter), install via the SX Menu installer. Done.

Never used Tinfoil. Only point I was trying to make is that you should definitely go FAT32 since the file size restriction isn't a hindrance anymore, and hasn't been for a long time. When you install a 31GB game (Witcher 3) via USB installation it breaks it down into smaller parts on your SD card, which is why it fits just fine. Wheras copying and pasting directly to your SD card has a 4GB limitation.

Note that the menu installer does not ignore FW version. For that I use goldleaf connected to my PC.

Followed your advise and redid my card as FAT32. Everything works fine again and after powering down and restarting numerous times also no more corruption. As far as Tinfoil goes it installs the larger games easily. Go back and forth between SXOS & Atmosphere with no issues. Didn't realize FAT32 came so far or i would have done it years ago. But Thank you

Fat32 didn't "come far". Its still antiquated with respect to exFat. The issue is with the drivers, not the format.
