I just installed an xecuter 3 in a 1.6 xbox and put evox on it. I would like to get xbox live, but will i get banned? If i play the games off the harddrive would i get banned? and if i get banned, is their a way to get unbanned?

1 other thing. If i have a bigger harddrive than the original, will i get banned?

if you sign up for live only after the upgrades in hdd and the modchip you will not be banned. You cannot acces ms dash if you have hdd unlocked meaning you cant get on live but no bannage. You cannot play backups on xbox live. 1 because the x3 bios wont allow you to connect for your own protection and 2 because you'd get banned for running hacked bios. So how i get my $20 now? :roll: 8)

you can only play online with a modchip and not get banned, if you ;
1) disable the modchip (long hold power to disable on x3)
2) use an original game (NOT off hard drive)
3) sign up to xbox live AFTER modifying your xbox hardware

Bigger HD wont get you banned
you cant boot into M$ bios with an unlocked drive
if you get banned you need to get a new EEPROM
You will get banned if you run games off your HD

you will not get banned on xbox live if you follow these conditions:
1) you disable the chip when going online
2) you must have the original copy of the game
3) you can't be running the game from your hard drive (in reference to #2)
4) apparently, as long as you upgraded the HD BEFORE you signed up for xbox live, you're safe (as per : http://www.teamxecuter.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=128&mode=&order=0&thold=0)
5) if for some reason you do get banned, there is no way to unban yourself, other than to replace the EEPROM (replacing a certain chip on the MB), which i dont think is possible on 1.6's
6) if you boot the retail bios (disable the chip), and the HD is unlocked, then you will recieve an error code 5, and it wont boot. in order to run your xbox with the chip disabled, you must lock your hard drive
7) WHENEVER YOU DECIDE TO LOCK YOUR HARD DRIVE, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP COPY OF THE EEPROM HD PASSWORD, FOR IF YOU DONT, AND YOUR XBOX SCREWS UP, YOUR HARD DRIVE WILL BE A LARGE PAPERWEIGHT!!

no you can replace the eeprom by getting the data on the chip from another modded console using the x3 backup eeprom and load eeprom fuctions or using config magic. But if you do that you will also have to replace hd or hack the firmware on the drive.
