256 backup

I just modded my 1.6 a few days ago with the x3, everything went smoothly, bios flashing and all that went perfect first time. Couldn't of gone better, anyways, I downloaded the re-released version of FlashBIOS 3.0.3 and flashed the 256 backup with it. It said on the screen that it went fine and completed successfully and all that but when I load up in 256 mode (pressing power & eject) The box turnes on and the X on the switch panel goes the orange color but nothing else happens. As far as i know everything works fine, it boots and runs fine normally, boots and runs fine when disabled, boots and lights up the right color in 256 mode just nothing shows up on the screen. and I use the standard AV pack. Any Ideas?

3.0.3 doesn't work with the 1.6 (despite what Xecuter announced). See topic a little further down about blank screen with flash bios.

You need 3.0.1

Banned while NOT going on LIVE

Ok so that subject heading is a little vague. I was afraid to go on Live when the ban wave started. I have a Sammy with 1.61 so I decided to stay offline until things cooled down. What I didn't take into consideration was that I still had my wireless adapter connected :roll: . Everything seemed ok for a week or so because every time I would sign into my profile, I would just choose not to sign into Live. Well apparently you don't have to actually be signed into Live for them to ban you because they still got me. Oh well...lesson learned. Maybe this will help others who might be doing the same thing.

this isn't new news...

if your drive was hacked before you took the nxe update then a challenge and responce was sent to the drive when you did the nxe update. if the responce came back to fast then m$ could tell your xbox drive was modded so you were doomed when you did the update, you system was flagged when you did the update. then when the bann wave hit you were on the list so it didn't matter if you logged in or not.

well then that must be why im not banned, my connection is sh*t! im on benq 1.61 and aint banned. before i had a hitachi on 1.51 and wasnt banned and did the update online and everything!
