2913+2914 picutre distorted How to reset without looking

K I put this on an earlier post but got no answer and now i'm Fabar
1959 work great I got 2913 but the picture is all distorted can't see a thing 2914 is the same It must have something to do with the video settings it starts up BLANK SCREEN then when X3cl loads or the dash loads its all diagonal lines can't see anythingAND my backup 256k rom does not work at all
If someone would be kind enough to walk me through a new flash from C/bios I would be greatfull here is what i mean this is an example
Load X3 config
Push down twice press A to enter ("WHATEVER")
Push A again to flash main rom
push Down once and A (to load bios fromC)
Push A for banks 1234 or push down then A for banks 5678
Push A to flash wait 15 seconds or so
then press B to exit
REBOOT


Since my backup is not working and no other bank has FLASHBIOS on it I can only hope that this will otherwise I'll be forced to open up the box and put in my spare chip

mmmm...i understand what u r asking for but how do we navigate your bios file from the file list that pops up?

have u tried the pal/ntsc quick swap??
Video Region Quick Swap (LEFT+X NTSC, LEFT+Y PAL - hold on bootup)

Here is what I did just incase anyone else runs into this
" sb122606" I tried the quick swap with no luck but then I remember seeing something on another post regarding reset by holdong X+A+B+Y so I tried that
I hit power held down X+A+B+Y it booted up the same loaded the same then rebooted by itself and went right into X3 config live build2914 all by itself, TADDA I GOT IT

Great...a reset of the eeprom fixed it
that would have been my last line ...but I don't want to offer that up as first choice as i guess there could be potential of screwing up the eeprom completely.
best to try the simple stuff first...

Glad your sorted...guess u can now put a flashbios into backup now too...

NOPE NOPE still stuck on that one. whenever I try it says "please remove flash protection and try again"
This is curious because the flash protection IS OFF, after All i just flashed banks 1234 & 5678
I've already looked inside (just incase) and the chip protect switch is off too.I've tried unpluging the control switches and still no luck. I don;t know where else to go from there? ANY IDEA???

If you can still boot into the X3 Config Live, but cant see the tv screen you can just flash the bios by FTPing into the xbox. It doesnt matter what page you are on in the X3CL. All you have to do is go into the folder that says "admin" then go to "bios banks". Then go to "1024k banks". Then just upload your bios of choice, in your case 1959 if thats the one that has worked for you in the past into the bank you want to flash Either "1+2+3+4" or "5+6+7+8". Then wait for a couple of minutes until it erases and flashes before you reboot. Since you cant see the screen just give it few minutes unti l you reboot.BTW you can reflash the eeprom the same way if you have saved an image of it.
