I have had a problem with my friends xbox since I pu a chip in a few months ago. Everything was working fine for him until his eeprom was wiped (flashing red). Now I tried to replace the eeprom chip (as I had a broken box handy), the problem is the box was a 1.6b and his one is 1.6(a?). So SOMETIMES it boots up normal, most times it doesnt.
Now I realise that I need to restore the eeprom onto his box, but the problem is that I didnt back his one up (yes I am an idiot). Thats why I am looking for the 3.0.1 unauthorized version of flashbios. I looked in xbins but couldnt find it (it is a 1.6 version so am looking for 3.0.1).
Any help would be much appreciated!
