I downloaded the 303 BIOS this morning and flashed my chip. The 302 BIOS worked perfectly but the following is what happens with the 303 BIOS:

Some info:
Country:USA
XBOX: v1.6b
Chip: X3
Setup: X3/1957 BIOS. Booting fine with 302
FlashBIOS on screen: No
Production Date: 9/12/2004
Samsung Chipset
Samsung DVD drive
Video Encoder:XCalibur
Maxtor 120GB HD
K:1.00.5838.01
D:1.00.5960.01

1. I flashed BIOS to banks 5-8 w/ 303 via HDD and HTTP, both ended up with a blank blue screen upon reboot.
-After reboot I hear the DVD drive spin and the HDD boot up and then dead silence.
2. Tried flashing to banks 1-4 w/ 303 also, same problem occurred.
3. Usually when FlashBIOS is booted the power LED blinks a few times and becomes a solid yellow or orange when flash options come up(color deficient so I can't tell). This doesn't happen with the 303 BIOS, the LED just remains in the flashing state.

Again, the 3.0.2 BIOS work fine for me.

The 1957 1.6b BIOS are working fine also, so far.

I've tried flashing the new bios to my 1.6 Xbox (UK Crystal, samsung ram, Philips DVD). I've flashed to both the backup 256k and to bank 8 on the main bios, both yeild the same results. Machines boots, then after about a minute the light on the front goes Orange, but I get nothing on screen. However, the old Flashbios (3.0.0) worked fine. Any ideas?

EDIT: Additionally, I have flased my X3 to the new 1959 bios to banks 1-4 and that works A-OK (flashed via X3live).

I'm getting a similar problem.

Flashed the new UPDATED 3.0.3 to a bank and again to the backup BIOS. When it boots, I get a black screen with the words:

"Inproper call to JPEG function 201"

Again, I have a 1.6 MSG date of 17-09-2004. Samsung drive and Samsung chipset.

Flashed to 3.0.1, works fine now. Strange.

I can't find the 3.0.1 to try, I tried 3.0.2 and that didn't work, 3.0.3 doesn't work either. 3.0.0 is working though, but I'd like to update to the later version.
