ANSWERED 3.0 flashing prob

i have brought a unlocked pcb and i have flashed it to stock with no problems but when i try to flash to 3.0 i cant get into vendor mode i get 0xd0 status im using the usb to sata adapter method that has worked many times before but now when i click intro i get status 0xd0 and when i click it again it says no drive detected and i have to restart my xbox for it to detect it again any help would be most apreciated and i all ways give rep

A via card should be just fine with a tx Pcb.If you don't mind that I ask where you bought the board and are you sure it isn't a clone?

You should have already dumped your drives info and should have your dummy...just start at step 7 of this good guide.

thanks for the reply its not a clone i got it from mod traders witch is the official retailers i think and yea i have the dummy bin ect i jus gave it another go from step 7 its the same what i have been doing i get 0xd0 if i press intro for the second time it then says no drive detected it driving me nuts

Ok are you sure your via card drivers are properly removed.there is a good guide on how to remove the drivers for the card.most of the time that is where most people make there mistake,you do not need the USBpro for the tx Pcb,you do if your trying to flash a retail ms 0225 Pcb.

yea if i can remember rightly i had to delete a certain via file i done that and got the yellow exclamation mark ill do it all again tho just to make sure

Yes x2 check,if using jf 1.92,download an older version and give another try.If your not using jf1.92 then download ASAP.

Also be sure that you are using the very back sata port on the via card,and perhaps even change sata cables.

yes ive tried new and onld jungleflasher tried different sata cables and tried ever port on my via card do you think it would help if i did a video showing you what it is saying n that?

i see you have slim checked in jungleflasher phat should be checked for the tx pcb,once you have phat checked on the radio button intro then power cycle to see if that will put you into vendor mode

yes when you use the tx pcb you must tick phat,after the flash it will detect as a slim.


(1) Select the MTK Flash 32 tab
(2) Click the I/O refresh button and make sure that the drive properties show that its a PLDS DG-16D4S
(3) Set the drive type to Phat (this is not a mistake)
(4) The PCB will detect as a Liteon Slim
(5) Click the Intro/Device ID button

you should get a ck3i or ck mini because timing on the power cycle has to be spot on within a second once the dots start
