Hi guys I have some questions about jtag, I'm a total beginner here so hoping you can help me answer them.

I would like to play games off my external hdd and as I understand I need jtag or rhg for that. Somebody told me there is no jtag anymore, only rgh. I dont know what he exactly meant by that but is this true?

I have a phat xbox 360 and dashboard is 2.0.17150.0 Can this be jtaged?

One of my concerns is that I have an old xbox and it only has 60gb store space, I dont want to spend any money on expanding that. I dont know much about xbox but I think some games (or all I'm not sure) save game data on the hdd, which takes a lot of space. If I have jtag can I have these game data on the external hdd instead? Or would 60gb serve me fine?

Thank you!

JTAG and RGH are just two different methods to get the Xbox hacked. The result is identical (well, JTAG starts faster, that's all).
With 17150 dash you can't install JTAG, but there's R-JTAG method which combines the reliability of JTAG and the idea of RGH method, so you can install that thing.

The best solution for you here is CR4 XL, which supports both RGH and R-JTAG ways.

You can find more info in the CR4 XL support subforum.

savegames take very few space. 60 GB is pretty enough.
with freeboot (that's hacked xbox 360 system, installed using RGH or JTAG) you can run games from external HDD, or even from your PC (via LAN / WiFi)
