I figured this was possible until I tried last night...

Anyway to make this happen on an rgh/jtag box? I find it strange that fsd tries to mount a 3rd usb device; which makes me believe its possible.

log snippit:

Has anyone gotten 3 usb drives working at the same time?

Thanks
Dan

You can only have (2) usb storage devices connected to the 360 at one time.

If you have a phat model you could use (2) Datel Max Memory Modules which house a microSD card and can have up to 512GB of microSD storage per card).
But in all honesty that would be kinda pointless as a 512GB microSD is $799...you'd be better off w/ (2) 1.5TB usb hard drives and call it quits.

Nevertheless if you do decide to take that route to expand don't get the V.2 Datel Max (the one w/ the push button) as it auto-splits in 512MB partitions w/ each button click.

Thanks for the definite info. My two usb drives are already 2tb each; so can't do anymore upgrading on that side. I'm not going to mess with MicroSD just not cost effective. Upgrading the internal hard drive to 2tb should barely give me enough room for what I'm trying to accomplish.

Thanks

Jesus! why do u need so much storage space.lol.
Call it my hobbie, but I like collecting consoles and building full game sets for them.

Its kinda messy right now but everything has a flashcart/ODE/Softmod with full US sets except for the saturn/ps1/sega cd. PS3 I'm still working on building that set up.

Very nice collection! But still, you must have alot of games if you need that much storage.

No defiantly not. I have a hard enough time having the Xbox one and a 360 in our bed room, 360 in the living room and a first xbox and 360 in a spare room. The grand kids love it though when they come round. Wish I did have a set up like the op. Especially the Engine block table.

would love to see a picture of how much space all those retail discs/carts take up
Are you talking about just the xbox or my entire collection? All of the cart based consoles have flashcarts with the entire rom set on sd cards. I couldn't begin to tell you how many games I have in total. I don't have too many physical carts/disc. I only have what I had growing up as a kid.

Is that an engine block under the glass table? Never mind the consoles thats class.:D
Indeed, its a k20a2 out of wrecked rsx type-s

Oh and the wife absolutely hates the engine. hates it with passion; but she has her room and I have MY room. There aren't any consoles in the living room or the bedroom. Just the backroom which I consider my domain (well the garage too).

U.K.
That's a well cool set up, love the 2600. I have one still in its box in the attic. It would be great to build something like that with all my old computers and consoles.
One a me mates has a rover (small block buick I think they were based on) v8 coffee table!
Great stuff keep up the retro gaming.
Cheers
