Hi ,
having 512MB jtagable jasper board
earlier i was having version 7371 so i tried to jtag it .One jtag point was messed up so using ALT point ,i was able to get nand dumps.but after that when i was writing kv files to xbox , it started showing 3 lights , so i restored my original dump and my xbox booted again.
But after so many tries , i was not able to jtag it.
Later i decided to update my console and updated to 136XX.
again i got one 2 more nand dumps.
finally i programmed my cool runner which was successfully done .
But the problem started once i connected all wires of cool runner.
my XBOX started showing 3 light error.
when i was trying to write my ecc file , nandpro was saying " can not continue "
I tried a lot , i removed every wire from the board but again 3 lights ,please help me , what to do now?

Well, you see when you couldn't JTAG it? You should have STOPPED and contacted someone to do it for you.

No telling what you've done to it. No real info, pics etc. Just a summary of what you think you did.

JTAG is about 10x easier than RGH due to the points used and the risk to the CPU if soldered incorrectly.

i did jtag for more then 5 times for me and for my friends but never faced 512mb jasper with big nand.
so for pics , i have to reconnect all the wires or just board without wires(for bad solder traces?).
please guide me , its midnight 3am here but no sleep in eyes :(

It sound like there could be allot wrong:
Fail soldering,
Not reading nand AFTHER the update(yes that is required since the LDV number has changed,

So you might what to back up, and tell us if you wrote the nand (you got afther the update), BACK to the Xbox. Have you used the correct commands? -r64 instead of -r16.

I'm not sure how does great people on the site can help you, without providing that information.

It now makes sense how you were getting 3 red lights....

As said, your soldering is less than adequate and you probably had/have a short somewhere.

Hate to rub salt on your wound but that soldering is really insignificant. Anyhow, could you get your secondary error code and advise what it is? I will try my best to help you out of this mess but we need to at least know where to start first with the secondary error code that should give us a general indication.

Also, have you considered posting a request for service? Maybe you can seek assistance from a local pro to salvage the board and complete the job for you.

Read my LDV sticky.

At some point I would suggest getting this to someone.

I still cannot believe you updated a working JTAG Jasper because you lacked the ability to solder it, then went ahead to try to RGH it.:facepalm::facepalm:

updating is over , now i have updated FW. so cant be reverted back. i read your LDV page , but the thing is i have new dump but not CPU key .
dont know what happened immidiately just after connecting cool runner wires, my xbox stopped reading nand and started showing 3 lights. i checked my solder points several time with multimeter also but it shows no problem.

again i am saying , after updating my xbox to 13XXX , it was working fine was i was able to read nand
