3 red lights after flashed drive??

hey guys, i have just had my drive flashed,

my xbox is a jasper on 41719 > and refuse to update as my cr3 lite should hopefully arrive tomorrow.

when i plug the connect the drive to the xbox and power on i get the 3 red rings, when i remove the drive it boots as normal.

could the drive be expecting the most recent firmware?
i got the drive flashed by a local guy, no idea what programs he uses etc. but he has done a few from what i can gather with no problems,

once i RGH the console and build latest image, is this problem likely to go away? or am i screwed?

Flash back to stock then update, then flash back to LT+...end of story! If you want to RGH then dont update higher than 14719 until CR3 DGX and pro are out. build your image using 16197

He said he's not wanting to update, he is on 14719 and waiting on a chip to rgh.
@OP just wait on your cr3 build the 16197 image and it should work your drive is prolly on the new f/w for newer dash than 14719.

so when i RGH hopefully tomo and build 16197, i should be able to just plug the drive in and it will work? or do i need to go back to the guy who flashed and get him to re do it?

sorry to be a pain, just dont want to make an irreversible silly mistake 'like i have already i guess'

once you RGH selecting the latest dash as image, you wont need to flash your drive back. You can continue using the drive but make sure its LT+3.0 or 2.0 for some drives. Good luck on your RGH and dont mess up!

I would try to call the guy and ask him what f/w he put on it then post back here with that info,and also what model drive you have (lite-on? Ben-q) and what the stock f/w was.

lt 2. 3 not out yet for ur drive but ur drive skips sine settings so will be fine

To be honest the only Hitachi I have seen in jasper's were from someone swapping them in, and I'm not sure what that says, (it2.3 not out yet) for Hitachi 79 best I can remember can be flashed with lt+3.0, someone correct me if I am wrong.
I stand corrected so lt 2.0b is what he should have flash to it then not sure still what he was talking about 2.3 though.

Hitachi 79s use 2.0b as LT3 is still in development, just check c4evaspeaks.

hi guys, sorry i should have added what i asked him, my question was have you flashed with lt2 or lt3 and his reply......

lt 2. 3 not out yet for ur drive but ur drive skips sine settings so will be fine

think he means lt2. and the 3 is start of his new sentence??
