JTAG 3 red lights after update to dash launch 2.32

In need of help. Updated dashlaunch to 2.32, then went on Freestyle dash and was going to set up a path for my external hdd. Got a strange noise and the xbox froze. Now when I try to reboot get 3 red lights.
Any suggestions. Thank you.

I think I am sorted moved the xbox earlier and I think it just overheated, moved it back and seems to be fine. If it does it again I will try what you suggest.

Okay so I have got the three red lights again and when I hold the sync and press the eject 4 times I get 4 red lights, which is code 0? Any ideas please.

Okay so I have got the three red lights again and when I hold the sync and press the eject 4 times I get 4,1,1,4. This is code 0110? Any ideas please.

ya 0110.

This error is caused by a cold solder joint under one of the RAM chips, mostly its the top ones, sometimes it can also be one of the solder balls under the GPU that lead to the RAM. it can also be cause by a broken trace that connects the GPU and the RAM, the reason for it to break could be the flexing in this certain area.

fixes:
1)reflow ram
2) Loosen your heatsink screws and make sure the heatsink isnt shorting out a capacitor...
3) Look for missing and bridged components like resisitors and caps and replace them
4)xclamp replacement

For a reflow ram anybody tried this a home with a cooker or is there a better way?

Reflow station. Cheap methods will cause more damage than good.
