POST output from J-Runner (either POST_OUT monitor or RATER output):
not sure how to carry that out?
updflash.bin log (if applicable):

Images of close-up soldering to motherboard:

Description of problem:

As the title suggests I cannot get the xbox to boot into xell. I have read the nand 4 times they all match, it remapped one bad block. I made a xell image and flashed it to the console. Then I installed the R-JTAG and when i turn the console on with eject it just shows 3 rrod. No secondary codes either. Any suggestions? I have even tried the different dip switches as suggested and still nothing im afraid. Can anyone help?
Was the console working before you started: Y

The soldering on the post out looks really bad, you have not soldered the jumpers for aud_clamp or anything, you need to complete the R-JTAG template in my sig.
Have to agree with Utmad also the post out soldering look really bad..

I thought that was optional? Mine was the standard kit and did not include a wire for that. I need to get a post output from JRunner, how do I go about this?

Aud_clamp is optional, but if you are using regular ROL jtag, you need to bridge pads 1 and 2 on the jtag qsb. as for the aud_clamp method, it is pads 1 and 3, and you have to install a piece of wire from the big square pad to the aud_clamp point. Aud_clamp is considered better, because it doesnt cause the ROL to glitch, but I hear it takes away 5.1 surround sound. It is up to u what option you go with, either way the end result should be the same.

This would have been super easy if you only had updated the console to the latest dash
end use a simple coolruner rev C chip end that was it,
why make your work so hard.

Huh? there is no need to update to the latest dash, R-jtag works with 15574+, his problem is with the jtag qsb, and possibly the post qsb(Hard to tell with flux all over it.) Maybe you should do some more reading(RGH2 is very unreliable on falcon motherboards, and hardly works at all, so it would be easier to get R-Jtag to work with a Falcon).

I got to disagree with rgh2 on falcon bootimes for everyone I done has been no more then 30secs with the right set upwith a coolrunner revc
How much work, and wire rerouting did you have do, before you got these 30sec boot times? I have done it my self, but I spent 4 hours getting decent boot times on 1 falcon with rgh2 before. I dont have that kind of time to waste on 1 console.

i have to agree with this, if you solder an r-jtag correctly it will boot quckly virtually first time. To get an rgh2 phat cnsole to boot quickly and reliably can take hours of messing.

i also agree r-jtag is one of the best if its done correctly , and clearly by his pics it isnt , we all have to start somewhere , but again, it helps if they read first , do all they can then ask

Do I need to Install the JTAG wires too like a normal JTAG (two diodes and point soldered). Ill go for the aud_clamp method then, do I need to reflash anything or can I just bridge pads 1 and 3 and solder the wire to the point?

What would you reccomend I do?

Just from looking at the pics you posted, you have the qsb soldered as a regular jtag. Adjust the wiring, as Martin recommends in his sticky, and use the aud_clamp option in J-Runner.

You have the QSB's so no you dont have to solder diodes etc, aud_clamp is the best method so bridge 1-3 and find a piece of wire to connect to connect from the pad to Q2N1 right leg as per instructions. Remember you have too create your jtag image with aud_clamp ticked.
