You have the QSB's so no you dont have to solder diodes etc, aud_clamp is the best method so bridge 1-3 and find a piece of wire to connect to connect from the pad to Q2N1 right leg as per instructions. Remember you have too create your jtag image with aud_clamp ticked.

I left it with out the aud_clamp, and redid my soldering and messed with the dip switches again and it boots! Bad thing is its 15 - 30 second boot times tho. Would I get better boot times with the aud clamp?

Aud_clamp is the better method, more reliable. To get better boots times you just try all the dips and voltage settings.

the green wire in the kit for e pad is sent long enough to cut some off for this

Ok what i did was, flash back the origional unmodified nand, then checked the box for aud_clamp and rjtag, and flashed that version of xell to the xbox. Now just messing with the dip switches and it just 3 red rings, I must try the voltages then and see does it make a difference.

UPDATE: Nope still 3 RROD..
