Been having a problem flashing the 3029v16plus. I have a 1.6 xbox. Now I've able to load out some other bioses including 1959. 1959 is the latest version of the bios I've been able to load out and get the xbox to boot up. Any later x3 bios and I get a flashing amber light and no a/v. Any ideas why? Also now that I have the 1959 loaded and running it wants a password from the first time I booted the Xbox. I've read somewhere about the erase.xbe so I've got some more searching to do on that.
tia!

PS I should also mention with the 1959 bios loaded and running I get the flashing amber too but do get a/v. It's sitting there wanting a password.

Ok well I have my 3029 load now just fyi! Hey it appears that a flashing amber means it wans a password. now that I've erased the bios the flashing amber went away and no more asking for password. and i have a/v with 3029 now! seems like the bios is coming not completely erased????????

erase.xbe resets your x3 eeprom. It does not erase your bios.
