Correct,

If the firmware is erased the drive will not eject.

If you have your drive key then you're just fine.

you should try to flash the drive now..

if it doesn't work try erasing the firmware again in DOS..

I had the same problem! I soldered the points as described and miens works just fine now!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Guys a mate of mine while flashing my xbox (Liteon; which he found new to him) and he accidently broke the resistor off. We dont have access to a soldering tool.

What happens if i am missing a resistor?
Please help.

It works fine, I had removed the r709 resistor and I soldered the 2 points above(100ohm resistor) and worked. Now my lite on open/close fine...:cool:
