320 gb maxtor

i just wondered if anyone can tell me what is the best setup for this size HD or if different size partions matter or not?
also do i unloack my old drive shutdown install new then reboot format?

any advice is appriciated this is my first HD swap

yes unlock old drive, install new hdd, reboot to bios, reformat and make sure it is set so that f: gets 137g and g: gets the rest

what about e: drive?

Leave e: alone. e: gets no love. just put everything on f: and g:

ok i formatted it and put my stuff back in the drives.

137 gb in the f drive
but it dosnt see my g drive
dosnt see my flolders even in flsh fxp

whats is wrong

help please
