3294 flashes but will not boot

The bios will flash and shut off then I will turn the box back on and it will shut off immediately. I have repeatedly checked the the LPC spots for 13 & 14 and nothing changes. I don't understand what is happening but I feel that if I keep resoldering the LPC spots I might burn up the board.

I flash the bios to the 1st 1mb bank should I try the 2nd 1mb bank to see if it will boot from that?

Please help me I just want to get this done and over with.

Are you sure you flashed the correct bios? X3_3294 has old and v16plus versions, check that first before resoldering...

I flashed it with the "X3_3294.bin" and not the "x3_3294v16plus.bin"

I'm running a v1.0 Xbox so I didn't think I should use the "x3_3294v16plus.bin"

Should I go ahead and resolder?

I have the same problem, I installed a X3CE in a v1.0 XBOX PIN-HEADER install. After install it boots to Back-Up BIOS v3.0.1, flashed with X3 BIOS v3294, got the yellow then the green progress bars, shuts down by its self, but when I reboot, comes up for about 3 seconds then shuts off. I can reboot with the backup BIOS, and with the chip disabled, but thats it.

I have reflashed several times with BIOS's from diferent sources, and resoldered everything 3 times, we have a low wattage iron and PACE kit at work so I'm pretty certian that solder job is OK.

I even tried to load v3.0.3 and that caused the system to turn on and off 3 times and then FRAG. I did my v1.6 and even with the extra soldering it went great, right on the first time.

I would check all of your solder points sounds like you have a bad connection some where.
I just finished a v1.0 with the X3ce with bios 3294 & it worked just fine, you might want to try to download a new version of the 3294 I have heard there were some bad downloads out there.

Whats the staus of your LEDs on your chip when you power the box on?? You should have 2 Blue LEDS lit and either a red or green LED lit.
