360 doesnt read new backup games. Still reads others. HELP!

I would like to hear some useful feedbacks on this problem. I've backed up succesfully about 15 games so far. 2 days ago, I tried to back up some new games using the same burner (Sony) with Clonecd but it gave me an error message. The media im using is Memorex +R DL 2.4x. I burnt 4 games with this media before and they work fine. Its not working so i went to get a new burner the LG lightscribe one. Burnt it with CloneCD. it burnt but when I put the disc into my 360, the 360 doesnt recognize the game. WHY? I still tried a lot more discs to see what the problem is. I even tried to burn different backups including the one I already burnt before. Theres still no luck. Also used imgburn, dvd decrypter. The 360 still doesnt recognize the discs. I've tried about 13 discs now and getting really frustrated. THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS. It's worse that I can't even find an answer. The only thing that I've not tried right now is using another type of media. BUt i am just wondering, i used the same media before and it worked. Why doesnt it work now. ANY suggestions? If someone could help, I would greatly appreaciate.

mate i had the same sort of problem, not recognizing disks and sometimes just saying open tray, its probably your 360 thats the problem, maybe you've not flashed it correctly or your laser's gone? what drive is your 360? hitatchi?

yes that was always happening to me and iv just fixed it rite now (for the meanwhile at least) get one of those dvd/cd lens cleaner cd's and run in through your 360...i just did and now every game is coming on straight away, let me no how u get on

I don't think its the lens problem or the flash. All the games i've burnt before still work. Only the new ones that I burnt recently dont work. Even my sony burner is not burning games right, i had to buy another burner. Only new games give me the open tray problem. Other games still work including originals. Please if somebody could help me. My drive is a samsung drive.

perhaps your firmware is old.. some new games give problems with old xtreme firmware

Ran into this same problem. My fix was to stop using CD Clone. Started using XBC , Backed up the same game I that CD Clone failed to do and it worked fine with XBC... XBC All the way

Have one for you Watto, If your 360 is opened, Unplug your Sata cable from your drive boot your 360 and you will see the open tray error. All indications are pointing that the Sata cable that came with your 360 is going bad or has gone bad, Try replacing it
