I had my 360 flashed by Textbook (Very well done and highly recommended) and everything was fine. A month later I got the 3 RRoD. Unrelated but I want to make sure I give all the information I can as I am unsure what version firmware I have. My 360 sat broken for about 3 months and I finally had someone do the X- Clamp fix on my box. I got it back and it worked for a night and then games started working for a bit then the screen would go blank.
I haven't tried it but it seems like I would be able to cruise menus all day, but as soon as I get into a game my box will either freeze or the screen will just go blank. Ive seen black, red, green, blue screens or just plain freezes.
It seemed to me it might be an A/V problem so I tried playing both with the game muted and with a new cable altogether and neither worked, it freezes almost immediately.
The problem persists whether it is a backup or a legit game. Through all this I have not gotten the RRoD again, the circle indicator on the front remains green. I'm really at a loss, does anyone know what is going on?
