TX Product(s) used: Demon Phat with BB kit / CR rev. B / Nand X QSB's
Console Type: Jasper
NAND size: 512
Dashboard version: 13604
CB version: 6750
Screenshot of NAND details from J-Runner:see "photos" link
J-Runner log:View attachment 25626
updflash.bin log (if applicable): N/A
Image of Coolrunner:see "photos" link
Images of close-up soldering to motherboard: photos

Description of problem:
When demon NAND is selected the console will not power on what so ever. Demon was tested before install (read / write, NAND switching and led checked). Demon was then installed and stock (backup) NAND image was written to both the xbox and Demon NAND. When the xbox NAND is selected the xbox will power on and boot as normal. The CR was updated with "demon installed" box checked as well as updated Demon firmware before image was pushed. CR was previously installed and glitching console without issues for several months. Any help i can get here would be greatly appreciated.

Was the console working before you started: Yes, was working with RGH rev. b installed

Do you get a green debug light appear on the RGH chip every 4-5 seconds: N

How long is the light on for each time: N/A

Try creating a 16MB jasper image, and writing that to the demon nand. so load up your nand dump, and then manually choose 16MB jasper, then build glitch image. Also with an rgh1 console, the demon is pointless, as if you update live it will disable the rgh you have installed. If this is what you want, then u need to rewire the console for RGH2. if you are looking to run freeboot, and a devkit nand your coolrunner wiring is fine.

Just on the obvious side of things, If you try to write a 64mb file to a 16mb disk, then you will loose alot of data in the process, which gives u the not turning on.

Well I feel kinda dumb, that was it. My install was good just did not think about the 16mg NAND. Demon and stock NAND's boot perfect.

In reference to the RGH and RGH2 is this a wiring change or a chip change?

RGH 2 uses the E and F points, and doesnt use the A point. Here is an install guide for the rev A and Rev B coolrunner. Also you will have to program a different timing file to the coolrunner, which you can do with the demon. so the first step is updating stock nand with stock image, to latest dash, then dump that new image, This will be your new stock dump, you can remove any old dumps u have, as they will be useless. Next use the new dump and create a 16mb RGH2 image. Write that to the demon. The hard time is getting it to boot in a decent amount of time. RGH2 can be really hard to get boot times under 30sec. RGH1 is almost instant. I would also look into R-Jtag, as the boot times are more stable, and at the very least, the cpu_rst cleaner.

Here is the RGH2 install image for rev A and B:http://team-xecuter.com/RGH2/phat_rgh2.jpg

I would try all the timing files, including the falcon 1. Unfortunatly it doesnt have the cr_en option in it, but I found it booted my system the fastest. Every system is different though.

Do regular RGH on that dash is video of my and look at others how to RGH a jasper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R41a0uIof6g&list=UU86XwQgXnBys6ZQw4m9FhTg
Maybe you should note that he installed a demon to the console and that was the problem. If he wants to use live and rgh, he will need rgh2. Also note he has rgh1 wiring, and a coolrunner rev b that was previously installed. So if your guide has a magical way to use rgh1 on a split cb please, do tell. if not, I suggest you read more before you post. I also told him if he wanted to use a devkit nand, he could and would not have to rewire for rgh2.
