stuck in a update loop modded over 200 consoles im stumped on this machine.. benq drive how can i tell to see which dashboard it needs?

umm never been modded the guy said i bought it cause it overheats but its fine for now i will reball after let me know any ideas?

Dump the drive and ensure its stock. The either dump the nand to see what dash its on or just start liading the dash updates one by one on usb till one works

Also wrong drive type will prevent update

it was on 15574 and is looking for 16197 update, but could be banned and it will never update again

oh yeah jungleflasher says its stock.. its not spoofed it says cant read update from xbox 360 hard drive so il spend another hr on it

That code means the console cannot find the update after it rebooted I believe.
try downloading the 2.0.16197.0 update and run it from USB or cd/dvd.

ah professor doing it right now I dont like the sound of that =( wanted to RGH the elite gonna try 2.0.15574 & 16197 hopefully they dont work

1st change the dvd sata cable. then test
2nd try replacing with lite-on. then test

yeah updated it to 1617 whatever stupid dashboard it is.. so no rgh for this console.. =(

yeah I totally forgot easier way is to read the nand lol never thought of that! Anyways fixed professor johnny how did you know?

complete tool its a benq.. why use a liteon? Cant play xbgd3 games your no help

The error code can be decifered from hex to decimal the first 4 digits is the dash the console was on the second set is the dash it was trying to update to and the last 8 is the error code from microsoft. and i think it means "cache corrupt" maybe a power off during update or a corrupt unpacking of the files when trying to install the update.

if you get a dgx when they come out you be able to rgh this sucker aswell so i would not be to worried just dont update to 16202 as i dont know if they have that one hacked just yet.
