I just got a 2,5" laptop HDD to put in my JTAG (it's a Hitachi, that shouldn't matter for JTAG right?). It has been used in this laptop, so it contained data.

When I just put it straight into the Xbox 360 with all data on it, I get an E70 system error.
When I remove all partitions (so just unallocated space remains according to Windows 7 disk manager), it gives me an E68 system error.

Am I forgetting something? Do I have to create a partition on the drive maybe? If so, what kind (fat32/ntfs)?

Thanks.

I'm not trying to boot Windows on my JTAG, you dumbass. I was planning on formatting the disk through the Xbox 360.
