4mm dark ring around other edge

I am pulling my hair out with this problem, I rip the game to my hardrive with Samsung SH-D162C DVD flashed with Kreon v081, its set at slave, tried using Verbatim, Aone and Infinti 360 disks I’ve burn at 2.4, 4, 6 and 8 with clonecd, imgburn and DVD Decripter using Pioneer 111D with 1.29 f/w set as master on the end of the iem I make sure my PC is not running anything in the back ground. All disks have about a 4mm dark ring around the outer edge, only the Verbatim seems to access saying you can open this disk in the midia section but it does not, the other two just click a few times before giving up, reading other posts it seem they might work on Samsung drives but I have a Hitachi 0078 flashed with Maximus – 360, wondering if anyone else has this problem and how to fix it. Backed up one of my films on single layer with the pioneer 111D with clonedvd it left a 1mm ring on the lead in and plays on my xbox 360

Maybe the discs aren't closing correctly? Try inserting one of your burned discs into your burner and loading IMGBurn. Go to Tools > Drive > Close Disc.

All my backups have the same dark 4mm ring on the outer edge, and all work fine. I've used clone cd, imgburn with no problems. I do have a Samsung in my 360 though. I didn't realize the Hitachi drives were more sensitive. I also have a sh-d162 samsung flashed with kreon v.81 and a pioneer 108 burner. No coasters yet. Knock on wood.

Thanks Textbook, Moriarty for replies tried closing disk in imgburn just got a error message I/0 I took 3 print screen shots send them if I can attach them on forum or e-mail if the information is important

Yippppppppppppppy done my first working backup been using clonecd to burn disks and its never worked for me, imgburn with a few tweeks yippppppppppppy
