GENERAL 500gb USB Hard Drive

Alright i have had my coolrunner installed for a while now but im getting kinda sick of my 120gb hard drive. My question is because i looked and the 500fb HD is currently formatted to NTFS i i formatt it to Fat32 will it show up in RGH'd Xbox 360 if i plug it in through usb.

So long its formatted in FAT32 format it will show up and work, you just need to use freestyle dash to launch games and applications from it.

For the record any storage device up to 2TB will show up on any 360 console so long its formatted with FAT32.

Because its filled with a lot of stuff that i don't want to move if this wont work

I used macdrive on pc and you can format to HFS+ ...The 360 will read this format also

it still shows up as usb0 in fsd shouldnt it be called hdd2 since i already have a hdd connected

it's not an Internal Xbox HDD ,it's a USB HDD .Usb HDD will show up as USB0 , USB1 ,etc.

Ok but it won't let me install title updates on the USB external, is it possible to do within fsd? Also can I install fsd on my external drive?

TU's go on your internal drive as that is where the system will look for them.
TU's & DLC need to go on internal drive in the correct places.

Games & XBLA can go wherever you wish to put them.

You either can make a 16gb partition for the Xbox to install title updates to, or take the external drive out of its enclosure and replace your other hard drive.
