5031&5032 cause Reset on SmartXX

First and foremost let me thank Xecuter for providing a new Bios which also works for other modchips - I consider this good business practice, which is lacking from so many companies. It's great that Xecuter is different!

But unfortunately I have a problem with the Bios: I have a v1.6 with SmartXX 3339 and both 5031 and 5032 just reset the box when I try to boot them. I put the correct x2config.ini files in E: (created with ini makers for the correct version, respectively).
The Xbox just turns off immediately, no logo or anything is shown, it stays off for a second and then turns back on.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

It cant be the bios - Xecuter has stated that - and I quote here; 'its rock solid'.

Could you double check that you have used the correct version of bios?
and that you have set the bios banks to 512k, by default they are 256k.

I dont have a 1.6 but every other bit of hardware is the same, I have never experienced this.

That was exactly right... I feel like such a no0b ! I really thought that I had a different configuration but that was probably on my old chip. Thanks a lot! I appreciate it...

You would like to think that people would read the documentations provided...

ALL of these recent BIOS files have worked on SmartXX's without ANY problems... I have gone to great lengths to try and repeat said issues on all the currently available versions of SmartXX and my only findings are user error...

If you use an INI file from a different build of BIOS guess what, doesn't work...
Similarly if you actually use the WRONG BIOS for your model of XBOX again, doesn't work...

Before posting this or that doesn't work on my chip, try removing the INI file first, if it does suddenly work, then give yourself a good slap and read the INI file itself next time around.
