5032 and clock bug

Ive had previous versions of the X2 bios and when my Xbox has been unplugged for periods of time, it has deverted back to the 20/04/2004 date, but now it reverts back to a date of 8029. This has only happended since I installed v5032.

Anyone else had this problem.

I've had this before too but I was only testing it since there was an addition to Xbox Media Center (05-06-05 build) that sets the date/time correct

I was told that this happens on 1.6/16b consoles (setting the year to 8029). True?

My xbox is a V1.0

Why is this a problem?

Either leave your xbox plugged in, or set the clock to the correct time when you boot.

Try saving your sig as a .gif file. It wont look so garbled then.
