Hi. Just something bugging me... What do I add to the evox.ini file to show the 5032 bios on the dashboard as at the moment it is Unknown.

I know where to put it and so forth but what should the string of numbers/letters read after the name?

To set up the evox.ini to read the 5032 bios. If your have flashed in the bios already then ftp to xbox and edit evox.ini on the line for the rom and copy the current version string. There are tutorials on editing the evox.ini file at Xbox-scene. you can name it x2 5032 and the string after it like the other roms listed in the ini file.

dash evox 3935
bios x2 5032
hard drive 160gb wdc

Hi guys. Thanks for the advice. I have already looked through the forum and found the page Klutsch provided. Unfortunately, I still get Unknown for some odd reason.

girlpantz, this thread (http://www.teamxecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30674#post124445) provides the answer you're looking for. I had a similar question although I found that you can find your hash in the ini after EvoX has loaded once. It is the entry marked "CURRENT", just copy it and name it like the other entries. Short answer, EvoX only looks at the first 256k to determine the hash. Since generally people look at the whole file to do this they don't match.

Hi Big_Whoopin, taking the current works - thanks dude. I'm now a happy bunny not having to look at that "Unknown" anymore!
