Hi All

I have a 1.6 xbox, X2 CE, and a 200gb hard drive. When I patch and flash the chip with 5035, do i need to have G Partition or does 5035 bios support F=rest of drive for 1.6 and 1.6b.

I know with 1.6 and 1.6b you had to use m8_16 and m8plus bios. But with a hdd bigger than 137 you had to use partition G.

Question is, with 5035 on a 1.6 and 1.6b, do i need to set it to have G or can i just have F and all the available space will show one F?

So if say I had m8 originally with f and g drive's partioned and I upgraded to x2_5035, would my drives still remain they way the were? Would it be better to switch to a large f drive (if possible?)

the 5035 (depending on where you got it) would native be large F, you would need to tell it partition6 <137g partition 7 takes rest , if you already have a G and have a lot of stuff on it then leave it, otherwise a repartition would kill whatevers on G and F to make the large F

So if I set my BIOS to use LARGE F and I originally had it setup with M8 to be F & G drive, I should leave it that way and change X2_5035 to F & G drives?

I have nothing on G drive, but alot on F drive...
