Yeah, I really screwed the pooch this time...

I flashed two TSOP's the other evening worked fine...

this time I flashed the TSOP (ST) with 5035 (forgetting to make it a 1,b file) not it frags... I looked into it and see that you can boot to 1 of 4 banks on this chip, each 256K...

Anyone know of a way that I can install a switch to boot from a 512k bank size?
Anyone know which bank raincoat would flash to default, I hear it's bank 4 for a 256k bios... how about a 512K...

I do have a chip I could install, but...

got it... new problem... I installed a switch to split the bios and I can boot my Xecuter 5035 (512K), but when I try to flash a new 1mb bios (after detaching the switch, I guess I could just turn it off...)to take-up the entire chip I can't, it stops at half... but it still will boot... (xecuter)

Is this because I booted from half the tsop?
Is there a way to boot from half the TSOP and Flash the Whole? Or can you only flash the part that you accessed for the boot?

Damn

This forum is dedicated to Team Xecuter mod chips, not softmodding. You would probably get more responses if you posted on the xbox-scene.com forums in the softmod section.

figured it out, apparently the bios I put in the slayer was 512K, so it would (for some reason) stop halfway... re-burnt slayer with a 1024K, booted with the switch on, turned it off, flashed with slayer, works great...

...just in case anyone ever sees that...

...thx FantmX

You may be better looking at the TSOP forums on Xbox-Scene.com.

I'm pretty sure if you disconnect the switch after booting the 512k Bank, you should be able to use Raincoat to flash the entire chip.
