6 hours and still clueless DASH help

just bought a 2.6 from kanections.co.uk, followd thair stupid guide thats half assed and missing holes in the guide.

after googling i got the bios installed x2 5035. and found a better guide.

Now i've dropped a 40gb disk in xboX, installed Auto Installer and chose XBMC as my default dash. The stuff is on the HDD as i can see it in the memory of the game save section os MS dash.

All i'm now getting is MS's dash.

what am i doing wrong ?

is there any hidden menu's for dash booting ? ? ?

i've done plenty of mods both solderless and solded with the SPICE the XENIUM chip. This i found unreal easy and all done and dusted within 30mins.

sorted, the xbox would only accept EvolutionX dash. i was trying XBMC and all the rest but it either installed then crashed or MS dash only poped up.

how were you installing XBMC

in the folder you got your bios there is a file caled x2config. copy this to your xbox to f:
you will need to edit the 17th-21st lines down on x2config. this tells your xbox which dash to boot and from which drive.
