Ok I have been at this for awhile and can't get it to glitch. I've tried building with360_Multi_Builder_v0.2 and v0.3. I've also tried with jtag tool. I tried different wire routing although i get a bright green light blinking every 5 secs. on coolrunner. I have also tried 68nf caps on grnd and a. If i build with 360_Multi_Builder_v0.2 the green led will blink about 8 times and then stop blinking when i have no cap installed. If i have the cap installed it blinks once maybe twice and stops. I think it's glitching like it's supposed to but the image is wrong. HELP!! :(

This is the only one i've been unsuccessful with and it's pissin me off!:mad2:

While I would definitely like to see your soldering, I would also recommend possibly trying the fixes proposed for Jasper 6750CBs... They involve throwing a Capacitor on the chip in a few places. I have done 5 or 6 Jaspers and on 4 of them I have needed to use this fix to get em to work well.

I use Multi_builder 0.3 for everything. Not had a problem with it yet.

Do me a favour and put your Coolrunner board to SLIM. Make sure you unplug the PSU and plug it in to reset it.

seanr28 I'm in Oregon. i'll try the slim switch this evening.

the switch is definatley worth ago, I had an issue on a phat, green light would not illuminate, eventually just tried everything including moving the switch from phat to slim (switch was sloppy) and it works like a charm, clearly a dodgy switch.....

Try 2 68nF caps on the CoolRunner (instead of 1 that most people suggest). Had 3-4 Jaspers would not glitch until I put two caps on there. Work great and boot in a few seconds.

Additionally, from what I was told from Mouser directly is that 68uF are the same as nF and will work the same.

Sex - what tool did you use to build the 6751 ecc?

I will try the additional caps tonight when i get home if i have any.

A couple other variable i forgot to mention.

If i leave the coolrunner wired and flash the original nand back, it will flash green one time and boot to the orig dashboard. Doesn't that take wiring out of the equation?

Also i tried two different coolrunners, so i don't think the slim switch will work if do to a sticky switch but i'll try anyways.

The 512MB Jasper I did wasn't a sticky switch at all - It was just very irregular on phat mode. Put it to slim and added 50nF across CPU_PLL_BYPASS and GND and it glitches within 10 secs each time.

I put 2x 68nF on Ground/PLL and 1x 68nF on RST and the Jasper (16mb) boots in 10 seconds everytime.

Haven't done RST on BB Jasper yet, but will be.

I used Python and did the ecc via commands. If you send me your nand I can make the ECC for you to test. Could also help you via IM, just PM me one of your MSN/AIM, etc.

Cant get the damn pics. Camera sucks and blurry images wont load. :mad2:
Anyways i feel like i'm wasting time. I'll try to get pics up but until then any suggestions non solder related? I know that's been the problem for alot of people but hasn't been for me yet. I have resoldered my connections about 10 times now and have EXACTLY the same result. IF somehow i screwed up my soldering 10 times in a row on this one install is there a specific point that would cause these symptoms? This is install number 8 for me and all other problems i've had have been image or wire routing issues.

Ok so leave the switch to phat for now. Still can't work out why mine worked better as a slim then!

If the above combinations don't work, try a 680pF between A and GND and a 470pF on CPU_RST (one leg on the pad and the wire soldered to the other.
