So I installed the cr and the nandx and rgh my jasper 512 model and everything went great. I never installed the 68nf capacitor cause i wanted to see how it would run without it. When install was fresh it booted up in under 45 seconds, so i decited to install the cap. to speed up boot times. I installed it the correct way and the console would boot up fast, under 5 seconds every time, but it would freeze either at 360 logo or where you sign in. So i adjusted the 68nf cap. so it was connected to PLL_BYPASS and the ground wire that was connected to the 360 case. This fixed the slow boot times and freezing issue. :)

i cant see having one end of the cap being soldered direct to the xbox case ground having any difference to having it soldered to ground on CR board.. but thats just my opinion

I think i was getting interference before or it was just not getting a good connection to the ground on the cr board, only thing i can think of. So it is a dam good idea to install cr with no 68nf capacitor then test your boot times, then add the 68nf capacitor and test boot times again. That way you can tell if the wiring under the board that needs to be moved around a bit.

chalk it up to interference. someone already had a fix for the freezing issue
