Hi folks, I've joined today in the hope somebody can help me, I have 2 xbox's both with 74850c drives, one works perfect, the other has given me no end of trouble.
When I first bought it, I flashed it to LT+1.1 without any problems, ran numerous dashboard updates, no issues there either. Some time later an update refused to install and gave an error code, same happened when I flashed it back to stock, but when I flashed it with LT+1.9 it allowed the update, happy days I thought, but I was WRONG!
No ap2.5 games would play, I held out for the release of LT+2.0 in the hope of a fix but jungle flasher says the LT+2.0 '0251' firmware is not for my drive, it will allow me to flash the drive with it and yesterday it ran a new dashboard update, but no games will play not even originals, I believe the reason for this is, unlike my other xbox where a dashboard update changed my drive to an 0251, it hasn't on this one, if there was an LT+2.0 '74850c' firmware it would no doubt work, please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that was ever created.
I've trawled the internet looking for a solution and keep reading that ALL LITE-ON DRIVES ARE NOW 0251, well not in this case hey.
So just to be clear, it has the October dashboard update and I have a backup of my phat key,inquiry,dummy etc.
Any idea's would be very much appreciated guys
