I hope you do not mind me asking I noticed in your sig that you have an additioanl 64MB of memory installed in your XBox
Can you tell me where you got the chips
I have search and can only find pre-modded boards
I would like to do the install myself

I'm not saying that a beating is always the best thing but, my dad kicked my ass when I needed it and I turned out ok.
I got a 2 yr old now and compared to a good amount of kids in his gymboree class he's pretty behaved. You gotta start young... when it's easier to dropkick them!!

If you have a v 1.6 or later you can not upgrade the systems ram.
You can also remove the needed chips from a dead donor board, thats what I do.
Note: You must use the same manufacture ram as what is already in the system. So if you have Samsung ram installed it has to be matched with Samsung chips (4)
I thought that the ram really doesn't help the performance of the xbox at all. I could of sworn that I read that since the xbox's software was written for the original amount of ram that it won't even use anymore...
Yes you are correct sir, but if you plan on using Linux or Friendtech Media Center 128MB total system ram would benifit you. Also I heard it helps with the N64 emulator on those lagging games.Catalyst said:
