A couple questions regarding dash versions and types of modification

Hello, i'm new to this scene and I have a couple of questions. I currently have a phat falcon with the dash/kernel 16756. I've read around and looked at a few of the posts here, like the roadmap for newbies and a long tutorial on how to actually do the JTAG or the R-JTAG.

I don't want to mess my xbox up by making a mistake and i'm sure you all feel my pain. Here are my questions:

1. Do I need to use the RGH or R-JTAG?

I ask this question because almost all of the charts i've seen haven't been updated to accommodate this question. Like I said, I have a Falcon with the dash version/kernel 16756.

2. I've noticed a thing called a DemoN, what exactly is it?

I'm sorry if I am showing extreme stupidity by posting this, I probably have all of the information I need, I just want to be completely sure before I go poking around in my xbox's sensitive parts. Thanks for reading and taking time out to reply.

you can use either chip,but with that dash,you would be using rgh2.0,and it can take up to 1 minute to boot each time with a reg glitch chip.rjtag is sorta the coolrunner pro phat version so to speak,makes box boot up almost instantly each time.demon is a dual nand device.nand chip is where all the os for the xbox is stored on ur motherboard.with demon,ur basically adding nother nand chip to keep a moddified kernel on (rgh/rjtag) and u leave one on xbox as it is,so u can basically turn the rgh hack off,and retain a stock console on stock side that u can still use on live. hope this helped

every consoles diff man,ive had jasper and falcon rgh2 that booted most times in 15 sec or less,some that took min or just over.if your worried bout boot times not being fast nuff,you should wait for cr4 xl,which will replace the rjtag.

Alright, one more question. What exactly do I need and where can I get what I need to do this? I've looked up online R-JTAG kits and whatnot, but they're all sold out. I'm not entirely sure what I need to do the RGH2 mod.

any rev coolrunner would do,but right now finding ANY tx stuff has been pretty hard.ive moved on to m.a.t.r.i.x. glitchers cause of this reason,and in moooost cases i get better boot times on rgh 2 with those than any of tx reg coolrunner chips,aside from thier pro line and proto and rjtag ofc.nothing beats those chips,but the cr4 is coming out to resellers verrrrry soon and is from what i understand,replacing all of those chips.a coolrunner and a nand reader thats bout it.

nandx or jr programmer v2,which are both tx products,and most likley sold out everywhere.nandx i believe was even discontinued.
