A double partioned HDD?

Hello guys,

I have a 500gb external HDD through which I play games on my RGH.

Now my question is, can I configure a part of this drive to be used by the xbox and then use the remaining space for the RGH games?
Will this lead to any issues?

What you are asking should work, but I have never tried it.

I ask because I have free space on the HDDand could easily save some cash on another USB stick if this worked..
But I read somewhere that this was not recommended.

The best you can do is allocate 32GB as Memory Unit storage. dual partitioning won't work as the console needs the FAT32 partition to be primary.

Yes, that is how you need to configure the HDD.

It isn't really ideal, but it does the job.
