I've seen the video tutorial and understand everything i just have a few simple questions.

Is there any command like "dxdiag" to see which sata card you currently have in your pc or do i have to physically check it?

Secondly, once i mod my 360's firmware to play burnt games, Is there any way i can ensure it will not be detected on live?

So will i get banned with this mod on xbox live? I've heard of people saying stealthing the xbox 360, What is that

Stealth firmware means that a backup will always appear exactly the same as the original disc regardless of disc check. The newer firmware versions for both Toshiba/Samsung and Hitachi drives have stealth features.

A backup copy is stealth if it has the video partition and the valid ss.bin, pfi.bin and dmi.bin files from the original.

As far as Live, as of today, no you will not be banned. But no one knows what may happen tomorrow. The next update could include a drive firmware check of some sort. Or it might never happen.

My personal opinion is that they are trying to win the console war and so they would never do something like that right now. In a year or two, who knows? That's just my opinion though. :)

Who knows what Microsoft will do, they get so much money out of Xbox Live. Who knows though? The Spring update could kill you.
