A lazy query....

First of all.... Happy Christmas to Team Xecuter and community members!

I've installed your X3 modchip painlessly in my 1.1 XBox. The item itself is extremely well designed and manufactured and your online instructions are genuinely foolproof. I upgraded the HDD in my XBox at the same time and am now happily running XBMC as my dash, streaming video from a Windows Server that I have on the premises, running games from the HDD etc.

I do have one query, however, and I freely admit that the answer probably already exists out there in one or other of the XBox forums - I'm being lazy asking you guys!

I can launch the original XBox dash from the X3 BIOS and it runs correctly (from the C: partition where it and its associated files reside). However, when I switch on my 'Box with the X3 BIOS disabled (i.e. hold down the power button) I get the error message about my XBox requiring service. Any ideas about how to get around this?

Many thanks in advance for any replies, and keep up the good work!

-Austin :)

oh u slack bastard. :)

But hey it's christmas....
That's it one one the stickeys I think. Most likely it's an error code 5, which means the hdd is unlocked, enable locking in the X3CL menu and it should be fine.

Wanted your thoughts

Hello there everyone, just wanted to get your thoughst on what I just did. I wanted to make sure that what I did is the right things. I have a XBox 360 Elite with Lieton 83850c V1.

I updated this drive last time with LT 1.1 and I saved the Dummy.Bin File, which of course had my Key and I even wrote down my key. So I loaded the Dummy.Bin in the Source and LT + in the targed and Spoofed the info to Target and of course then I save it and went ahead and flash the Drive with LT Plus.

To Test it I burned NFS: HP all patched up and it booted on my 360 with no Problem.

Is this good or did I do soemthing Bad? Please let me know.

Thanks Guys!

Re: Wanted your thoughts

Thank You Sir. This drive got flashed no problem, but I Bricked my other Liteon Drive, but I brought back that drive to the living by the end of the day. I almost gave up, but in the end, it too is on LT + and I was able to boot up NFS: HS with no problem.

Big thank you too all you guys and all your hard work. U Guys Rock!
