First of all.... Happy Christmas to Team Xecuter and community members!
I've installed your X3 modchip painlessly in my 1.1 XBox. The item itself is extremely well designed and manufactured and your online instructions are genuinely foolproof. I upgraded the HDD in my XBox at the same time and am now happily running XBMC as my dash, streaming video from a Windows Server that I have on the premises, running games from the HDD etc.
I do have one query, however, and I freely admit that the answer probably already exists out there in one or other of the XBox forums - I'm being lazy asking you guys!
I can launch the original XBox dash from the X3 BIOS and it runs correctly (from the C: partition where it and its associated files reside). However, when I switch on my 'Box with the X3 BIOS disabled (i.e. hold down the power button) I get the error message about my XBox requiring service. Any ideas about how to get around this?
Many thanks in advance for any replies, and keep up the good work!
