Having installed several X3's i've just installed my second X2.6CE into a version 1.0 XBox. Trying ti flash the Bios has been a struggle with Cd's not being recognised and several http installs just not working. Going through my Bios backup discs i found a DVD without a label and wapped it in, as soon as i had done so i seen X3 bios on the screen and the chip took the lot. Now i cannot get the chip to go at all, it just FRAG's. I know it wasn't the smartest thing to do but it's done now.
Is it possible to get back to my original flashbios? As my switch was at Bank 1 surely i must still have a flashbios in bank 2 or am i [email protected]$*ed.
I am more than confident my soldering is fine so i am assuming it's a Bios issue.
The machine still boots fine with the chip disabled.
Any help would be appreciated.
