ok ive read and watched textbooks tuts but i seem to fail when it comes to the samread 1234567 12345

ok i enter samread then my serial number (yes ive got the drive connected at this stage) it comes up with directory already exists and a few lines about the NTKflash and who made it then nothing at all it dosent ask me which drive i want or anything
any ideas?
also my drive is samsung ms25 and i have the Via 6421 sata card
please help me

Are you using the SATA port closest to the front of the PC tower?

If so try to list everything you're doing starting from making your bootable drive in Xtreme Boot Maker, give as much detail as possible.

Erm no im use the port at the back
ok im starting of with a Usb drive and Xtreme 5.2b and it detects my I/O codes i selcect the drive and make bootable and wait untill its done then i add the updated Sam hack to the usb and boot the pc from the drive
now when it says loading windows 98 one its all done i type samread then my serial but it says directory already exists and a few line about the MTKflash not else after that
also my sata card is a PCI
shouls i try the port closet to the from of tower?

Yep for some reason the back port doesn't work for flashing on the 6421, that might be your only problem. Also, you're checking "Use custom MTKFlash" in Xtreme Boot Maker correct?

ok it worked a bit better this time
but ones i selected my pci card it went to 100% and got my orig.bin file then said user error
any ideas ?
