I have been a long time lurker having always got someone to flash my 360 for me. With the increase in frequency of updates needed I felt it was time I learned how to do it myself so went and bought the
X360USB Pro
Xecuter CK3 Pro
Xecuter CK3 Probe 3 combo package
after reading enough to understand what I would need.

I had bought an old RROD Xbox so I could run a safe trial flash, the hitachi, that went fine. Flashing from stock to LT1.1 and back to stock.
I've just spent an evening very carefully flashing a stock Liteon to LT2.0 and a LT1.91 to LT2.0.
Both worked flawlessly.
Just thought I'd post this to say if anyone reads enough, follows the guides carefully enough then it's really not so difficult.
