A question of Updating

I'm currently on 6.2 for both cfw and ofw, on a not banned console, and running SX OS 2.5.2. Should I restore my clean nand backup and update to 7.0.1 the official way? Then start with a freshly formatted SD card and SX OS 2.6.1?

Or is there another way of doing this? I might be noob around here but not a noob to the modding world, so I am not asking for someone to hold my hand and walk me step by step, I'll happily do my own homework if some one can point me in the right direction.

You can keep your sysnand on firmware on 6.2. Just follow this guide (https://team-xecuter.com/community/...ned-nintendo-switch-with-choidujournx.128170/) to the letter when booted on emunand to update emunand to Firmware 7.0.1 and you should be good. Remember to use the newest Sx Os Boot.dat 2.6.1

Yea, I followed that and I can't seem to get it to work. ChoiDujourNX does not recognize the firmware folder as a folder.
