FAT32 will cause file size issues esp. w/ some XCI. Unless you are on 1.0.0 and want to stay for dev reasons (running any FW) no reason not to update. Just be sure to update before running CFW that's all.

Your switch will need to install a small update the first time it uses an exFAT sd card.

You should allow your switch to install this update. It won't break/harm/effect xs os, or your ability to use the xecuter dongle.

If you're modding (which is pretty obvious) is not safe to update as of yet to the latest OFW. Just wait for TX to come with a proper fix and solution for the problems many people is facing. They will indeed kick Greedtendo in their greed once again!

Use ChoidujourNX v1.0.1 to reinstall the firmware you are currently on. When installing the firmware there is an option you can select to install it with the exfat update. Follow this guide. https://team-xecuter.com/forums/threads/154987-How-to-Update-Firmware-on-a-Banned-Nintendo-Switch

i had this issues with an friends console, and we had to go online download additional data i wonder why this sd card update isnt on the firmware build in... now u cant acces oline service cuse u get forced updating 6.2 maby there is a standalone installation somewhere .
