Haha, don't worry, it's not your fault. It's very easy (or apparently very hard) to read the rules. Not at all your problem ;)

okay so the store that i got the HD from wants to test the HD first to see if it's really messed up. When they plug this bitch in, will they be able to read anything on it? I dont want to say "ya I modded my xbox and upgraded the HD" coz they'll probably tell me to beat it. I just need it to click for them

If they plug it into a PC to test (likely), it will just click, and since the format of the Xbox HDD is differetn to a PC drive, it might appear like there are things on the drive (depending on the app they use to test the drive), but it wont be accessible - which would be even more proof the drive is FUBARd.

I don't think you are going to have any problems with this return.

Returned HDD, got a new 120 gig WD, works perfect! Just backed up 10 games last night, took about an hour. Thanks guys! Lovin this chip.

n00b question: when i boot up with the mod chip, it goes to that X3 menu and I have to go to REBOOT TO DASH to load that Slayer's Auto Loader menu. I'm wondering, how can I set it so that when i boot up with the mod chip, it automatically goes to that Slayer's Menu ??

PS: Love the new site design!
