GENERAL AC:B freezing constantly

So: new dash, phat xbox, lt+ 1.91 and benq drive.

I've been playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood about 12 hours, got half way through with no problems.
Now, 43% into the game, it freezes every 2-15 mins and requires a hard reset.
Needless to say it is abgx checked, and the ap2.5 is taken care of. the disc is Verbatim.
No black screen or anything, just a sudden freeze, and then nothing...

Any help?

this could be early signs of a hardware failure. does it do this on any other games? have you tried to install it to the hard drive and play past this point?

Do as sk8boy204 suggests and save the game onto your HDD. If it stops loading then it is a BAD backup and needs re-burning

Other games can be played for hours. Also, the game doesn't seem to get stuck in a specific place or after a certain amount of time.
Installing to HDD shortens loading time, but doesn't resolve the problem.
Besides, this is the third copy I've burnt...

I would download the game again, run through AGBX again and then burn using imgburn at 4X, never fails for my backups.

Also, this is the second time I've downloaded this copy, and burned it at X2 and on X1.
Any suggestion? maybe a download link to a version you count on?

I don't think I can post a link here but it has the entire game on the disc so you have a backup. burning at slower speed make a game load slower, that could be your issue. try 4X. It loads fully to your HDD because its just copying the game files over, not loading them. 4X should work for you.
