Well I installed my first X3 but i forgot to set the switches and they were all off that means i flashed to 2MB if i am correct well all is working fine but i cant ftp my XBOX i have tried all possible ways the light on the swithch is flashing but not getting an ip could anyone tell me wat could be wrong is it because my bios are flashed to 2MB instead of 1MB!!!! if so how can i erase this bios and install bios again with correct switches for 1MB!!! plz help

power eject at same time gets your backup bios (flashbios)
if not and you have a v1.6b xbox then you need to flash your backup with flashbio 3.0.3 you can do that with the x3 bios itself guide below
once you have done that you can reflash x3 bios with the switch to on on off off off

using a router and i just enabled the DCHP and connected to router the lan light on the switch is flashing but not displaying any ip!

do i have to set up the ip on the comp or x3 config live screen? and where do i obtain the static ip from?

it will show the static ip address, if you change to dhcp, you need to reboot to save the settings. then it will show you what the ip address is. username and password for x3 config live is "x3".
