LITEON 74850 Accendently used wrong dummy.bin file

A drive flashed with a wrong drive key will allow you to boot DVDs and CDs, nothing more.

I just bought the kinnect and I can't even try it out lol it will probably take me weeks before I get all the stuff and learn how to do the reset glitch

how easy is it to swap dvd drives cause I have another lite on drive from another xbox

That would be no use, you still need your original drive key.

You didn't save the key anywhere when you originally dumped the drive?, Everyone says here to email it to yourself, And burn it to a CD, You didn't save anything when you formatted your PC?, It might be a long shot but if you did saved the dummy to your PC before the format you might try easeus data recovery, Unless you didn't save the original dummy.bin then you'll have to wait for RGH

looking at your jf log you are reflashing lt1.1 to your drive anyway, as you have old dvd keys(pre 13146 update) you need to manually add the lt2.0 to target ...not sure if that will help though !

probably means you are also using an old version of JF ,, update try again !

also what dash are you on...need to be on 13599 or higher to use 2.0

my dashboard is 2.0.13604.0 I was using JF 1.85 switching to 1.89 right now and that's the file I always get when I search for lt+2.0 but once I load it up with JF it says frimware 1.1 but the rev changes from 78450c to 02510c so I thought it might be working ?????? oh and I do add it manually thanks for your help guys

ha good call talby JF 1.85 wasn't recognizing the 2.0 firmware but once I got 1.89 it recognized it as 2.0 but it still didn't get my drive working thanks though

post a new jf log , see if we can rule that out !
yeh jf 1.89 was released at the same time as lt2.0 for that reason

I must be using the wrong dummy file (can't believe I made such a noob mistake) I guess I will have to jtag and do the reset glitch but I always order of modchip.ca and they don't have that coolrunner thing which I think you need
