Well I bought a 2.6ce and everything was going good till I used the wrong bios' to flash. I originally flashed with a 512 bios which caused the xbox to frag (on selection 1) then I flashed using a 1mb bios which I read that it overrites the cromwell bios?

now it FRAGs on both selections leaving me with no way to correct my mistakes (that I know of).

Is there any way to fix this? Would the chip reprogramer work? but other than that (if it does work) is there another way?

Just got my new chip in today and was going to attempt to hotswap it, but I still get FRAG even with the new chip, checked the solder points and everything looked good but one connection which I fixed and still FRAG.

Im going to desolder and resolder the LPC board just as a double check, but I didnt change anything since the last time I flashed so I dont see what could be wrong.

Opinions?

Ok I think I got rid of the Flash green and orange, now im back at frag, tried 2 different D0 spots and still nothing, removed the LPC board and seemed to have messed up some traces... I think I fixed them though, noticed there was an extra connnection on the LPC than there was on the wired part of the tutorial so I added the connection after I got the same result. Now im back where I was.

hard to get it back to OEM because i dont have the original HD being as it was a previouly modded xbox that kept having problems so it was to be updated. That and I loaned out my Xbox so i cant lock the HD to see if it will load up like normal.

I was thinking of buying a Motherboard off ebay but all the ones that are for sale say "3 flashing red lights" and they have no audio or video which im assuming have bad eeproms, but looks like i might be in the same boat trying to mod one of those boards.
